Topic: Batik Art

This lesson was inspired by one of the batik motif. Batik is a fabric dyeing technique from Indonesia. Aland Batik Parang is one of the oldest batik motifs. "Parang" in Javanese is a scimitar without sheath, suitable for field use. Parang has the meaning of advice to never give up, just like the waves that never stop moving. Batik Parang also portrays a relationship that is never broken, whether it is in striving to improve oneself, striving for prosperity, or in terms of family ties.
